Rotor

At Shivalay Exim, we manufacture and supply brake rotors engineered for consistent braking performance, thermal stability, and long service life across demanding operating conditions. Designed to work seamlessly with brake pads and calipers, our brake rotors convert kinetic energy into controlled stopping force with reliability and precision. Suitable for passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and commercial vehicles, Shivalay Exim brake rotors support global aftermarket and OEM-aligned applications. We also offer private labelling and branding options, enabling customers to market our brake rotors under their own brand name with confidence.

Design & Construction

Brake rotors are manufactured in different designs based on vehicle load and braking demand:

  • Solid brake rotors
Typically used in light-duty or rear-axle applications where thermal load is moderate.

  • Ventilated brake rotors
Designed with internal cooling vanes to improve airflow and heat dissipation, commonly used on front axles and higher-load vehicles.

  • Application-specific surface designs
Slotted or drilled configurations may be used where improved gas, dust, or water evacuation is required.

Materials & Manufacturing

Brake rotors are primarily manufactured from high-grade cast iron, selected for its proven friction stability, thermal capacity, and vibration-damping characteristics. Depending on application requirements, alloyed or high-carbon cast iron grades may be used to enhance wear resistance and thermal performance.

Manufacturing involves controlled casting, CNC precision machining, and strict dimensional control to ensure consistent thickness, accurate surface finish, and proper balance for smooth and reliable braking performance.

Backed by controlled manufacturing processes and consistent material quality, our brake rotors are developed to perform reliably under real-world braking conditions. With a focus on durability, thermal stability, and repeatable performance, we position ourselves as a dependable supply partner for global aftermarket and OEM-aligned customers seeking braking components they can trust—with the flexibility to supply under private label or customer branding when required.
