Ferro Alloys

Ferro Alloys

Ferro alloys are essential raw materials used in the production of steel and specialised alloys. They are created by combining iron with elements such as manganese, silicon, chromium, and other metals to enhance strength, durability, hardness, and resistance to wear and corrosion. These alloys play a critical role in improving the mechanical and chemical properties of steel across various industrial applications.

At Shivalay Exim, we supply high-quality ferro alloys that meet international standards and cater to diverse industries, including steel manufacturing, foundries, welding, and casting. With strict quality control, consistent chemical composition, and reliable global supply, we ensure performance, efficiency, and value in every shipment.

Our ferro alloy range is designed to meet modern metallurgical requirements, delivering superior strength, stability, and long-term performance.

We deal with 2 major types of ferro alloys:

  1. Ferro Manganese and Ferro Silicon
  2. Ferro Manganese

Ferro Manganese Low Carbon

Low Carbon Ferro Manganese typically contains:

  • Manganese (Mn): 75% – 85%
  • Carbon (C): 0.10% max (can vary as per grade)
  • Silicon (Si): 1.0% – 2.0% max
  • Phosphorus (P): 0.10% – 0.20% max
  • Sulphur (S): 0.02% – 0.03% max
  • Iron (Fe): Balance
